Loyalty to Company does not paid in Long Run …………..Agreed?
Hello fellow friends, I am back to continue my blogging. A Yahoo article, Body Found Hanged at Heathrow Airport dated January 11, 2012 trigger off my emotion on following statement: Loyalty to Company does not paid in Long Run????
To begin with a summary of the yahoo article, it states that
1) An operations manager Keith Stone, 50, was found hanged at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 5 (January 4th, 2012) after reportedly fearing that he could be made redundant after 23 years.
2) He was managing a cleaning business that was subcontracted by major airlines.
3) A colleague told ‘The Sun’: “Keith was told about the threat to his job two weeks before Christmas. “He wrestled with anxiety throughout the festive season. The prospect of financial woes proved too much.”
4) He took his own life after emailing bosses outlining his disgust at his treatment after 23 years’ loyal service.
5) A spokesperson from Aircraft Service International Group (ASIG) [Keith Stone employer] said, “Keith’s commitment, professionalism and good humour will be sorely missed.”
I am sure all executives and managers around the world display their full commitment and professionalism in all work and services. None the less, it about time that we start to ponder, should we give ourselves a “live line” after a display of full commitment and professionalism. Or instead we simply shrugged off the yahoo article and engaged in the notion of “It will never happen to me” and indulged into believes that the organisation rewards loyalty on long Run.
I am confident that there are many people out in this world are looking for an honest opportunity that can give an “live line” and BLOGGING is one of many opportunity?
Part One – Frustration with Current Work and how blogging will help to give a choice?
Hello Friends, I would like to discuss how blogging can help anyone or everyone globally.
If you are an employee just like me and regardless of whether you are holding an executive or managerial position, you may face ongoing work pressure in the form of sale targets, projects or reports deadline, and reprimand from your boss or back-stabbing and criticism from your colleagues and uncooperative subordinates, etc.
All these incidents sum up and contribute directly to your frustration and are detrimental to your health. I have seen and heard similar stories of both a long-serving engineer as well as a senior manager in my company who had to go through cardiovascular operation due to heart attack and stroke. Both may have been exposed to accumulation of long-term work pressure and frustration.
It was a blessing in disguise that I was made aware of both my long serving engineer and senior manager colleague’s health condition. It gave me a compelling sense of urgency to earn cash income comparable to my current salary from work through acquiring multiple streams of income from blogging when I am still young and strong.
I am sure that there are many out in Cyber Ocean who wish to supplement their income. Eventually, some of us can earn an amount comparable to our working salary and give ourselves a choice whether we wish to continue with our current career or engage into a work from home career with blogging.
Blogging – The path towards Multiple Source of Income?
In an recent HDB Build to Order release, a series of five-room DBSS flats developed in Tampines by Sim Lian Group Limited was opened for sale at a hefty S$880,000.This issue has raised an online uproar over the $880,000 price tag for its largest units, as the price is comparative to those of executive condominiums.
To add in more woes, a recent check on our HDB showed that prices have risen 32% in value in just 2.5 years. Given that a new BTO (Built to Order) 5-Room flat is selling at S$ 400,000, a young Singaporean couple have to work and accumulate 4 years of CPF worth S$40,000. If their combined income is S$7,000, the young couple need to pay S$360,000 at 2.5% fixed interest which translates to S$1,400 per month instalments; it would take them more than 30 years to pay off their mortgage.
Generally, Singapore young couples between Mid 20’s and early 30’s do not incur much liabilities and expenses. But when their age climbs to 40 and above, the impact will start to creep in with the additional liabilities such as car loan and children expenditure, etc. The risks are added on should our volatile economy in Singapore heads for a free fall, many companies may be forced to downsize and retrenchment may then be un-avoidable. Couples with children and cars would find themselves seriously in financial difficulties should one or both are caught in the wave of retrenchment.
How can young Singaporeans avoid landing into possible financial embarrassment? More importantly, is the idea of working extra overtime for their employers, or setting up traditional businesses for themselves or even working as part time financial planners or property agents going to be the path towards adding an additional source of income?
In my last posting, I have shared with you how we have teamed up with experienced mentors and leaders who are experienced in the field of blogging and home-based businesses and how we can partner with each other to create multiple streams of additional income through BLOGGING.
In my next posting I would like to discuss how blogging can help individuals who
1) are Frustrated with their current jobs
2) aspire to achieve their financial goals
3) want to start their own dream businesses from home
4) are Business Owners but clueless about Internet Marketing
5) are looking for more time with their loved ones while earning passive income
Blogging and michaelleowblog.com
I am having mixed feeling of excitement and weird being while i am writing my maiden post and the amusing part is that the writing relates to blogging. Blogging is totally new arena for me. What is Blogging? Several definitions exist in Wikipedia, dictionary.com and merriam-webster.com etc.
Putting the definition aside, more importantly how do us ordinary folks or people’s monetise from blogging? These extraordinary question has raised many ordinary people’s hope, yet again it can be seen and heard of rumours that many ordinary people paid a significant one time investment of S$2000 to S$4000 to learn the art of monetisation on blogging from the successful Internet Marketing gurus. Some ordinary people even volunteer their free service to help these gurus organise their training in a belief that they can learn and absorb better with repetitive attendance.
To add on more woes, in the World Wide Web Cyber Ocean, a lot of websites and web advertisements claim and over-promise that they provide solution as well as personal guidance and coaching in order to lure ordinary folk to sign up with them. These ordinary people went into blog training excited but left frustrated as they are deprive of the key information to duplicate the making money portion from their master.
Does any unselfish/ethical internet marketing guru exist in the Cyber Ocean / the real world? My mentor, Raymond a successful network marketer went on a mission in search of the ‘special’ one. In his journey within Cyber Ocean, he came across various kinds of gimmick and offering of so called solutions and promise of personal mentoring. No doubt he falls for some but he rise up again and continue to venture further into the ocean with a determined heart.
This move proves to bear fruit as we are proud to work with our successfully internet mentor and coach, Mr Pete Chapman. Combined both Raymond‘s network marketer 20 years of solid marketing and networking experience with successful Pete online blogging and coaching, a new core team in South East Asia is born. With the mission to share and help like minded ordinary people who are still struggling to find the unselfish/ethical internet marketing guru, I am proud to be learning and working alongside with both masters and the core team.
A new dawn has begin with my maiden blog, michaelleowblog.com and I like to share my newfound learning in blog as well as how to monetise from blogging in my next post. Cheerio friends.
